HEARING SCREEN AND HEARING TEST
Hearing screening:
A quick test that you will pass or fail. If you pass, then you show no signs of hearing loss. If you fail, you may need more testing to see if you have hearing loss. A hearing screening can happen at any age. A baby gets one before leaving the hospitals, children can have them done at school or the Doctor’s office. Adults can go to the Doctor’s or a local health fair to get screening.
Hearing testing:
Is a complete hearing evaluation. You usually take this after a failed screening test. You will see an Audiologist to do this.
